TermDescription
Dummy Linetube leaves cooler, goes up to bar, but has no tap on the end of it.
Unassigned Sensor

A flow sensor which is connected to something not present in the bar plan.

This could be either a cleaning line or a beer line which is not currently 'hooked up'.

Unknown DrinkThis is an item in the bar plan where the drink is not present in the website and so 'unknown' has to be selected.
Provisioning/ReprovisioningThe process the Genflow controller goes through in order to register with the system and download the latest software.
Genflow Controller

The main controller for the Genflow system. This should be fitted at ground level (not below ground in the cellar).

It transfers messages between the Genflow Connectors and the Genflow Cloud.

It requires a cellular data connection (2G/4G).

This requires a standard 3-pin mains plug socket.

Genflow Connector

This device is fitted in the cellar of the pubs and connects wirelessly to the Genflow controller using a custom RF wireless technology.

There can be up to 8 Genflow sensors wired to each connector.

This requires a standard 3-pin mains plug socket.

Genflow SensorThis is fitted into the beer lines and the cleaning line in order to measure the flow of liquid through the pipes.
Cleaning Line

This is a pipe in the cellar which is dedicated to feeding water and/or cleaning fluid through the beer lines.

A sensor must be fitted into this line as well as the beer lines.

SIM Card

The Genflow controller uses a SIM card to establish a data connection using 2G or 4G networks (Vodafone, O2, etc.)

Our preferred supplier is M2M Intelligence

SD Card

The Genflow Controller software is programmed onto SD Memory Cards.

These can be swapped out to resolve specific types of issues.

External Antenna

This is a high gain (more powerful) antenna which can be mounted outside the pub and cabled through to the Genflow controller in order to provide a better connection to the cellular networks.

These are recommended in situations with weak cellular signal or pubs with very thick walls or lots of metal in the structure which restrict signal.
