TODO: Add in Connector LED state, rework so easier to work out what a installers system is doing based on the LEDs.
Installers are unaware of what each of the LEDs on the Controller represent.
LEDs on the Genflow Controller will initially start OFF.
After the device powers up, the RED LED will power up and stay solid, followed by the GREEN LED which will switch on/off representing flash activity.
After this, a RED LED will be present on the main Genflow Controller board. This will not happen instantly and can typically take up to 1 minute. It is possible that the GREEN LED may be on, but its state depends on the connection status.
Once the Controller gains network access, the GREEN LED will remain on. Whenever this LED changes from Green, it means network connectivity has been lost.
During installation, the first sign that the Controller is ready will be the ORANGE LED. This will maintain a solid state for the entirety of the installation, its state following on after this is currently undefined.
Important LEDs
The GREEN and ORANGE LEDs are the most important ones to pay attention to on the Controller. If the GREEN LED is no longer on, the Device will have lost connection to the internet and will need to move somewhere else more appropriate. The ORANGE LED represents the state of the software on the Device. If the LED is active, but not solid, the Device is likely to be in a state post-installation. The installer will need to contact us if the Device is in this state. The most important thing is that this LED is solid, as it represents that the Device is provisioned and ready to be installed.
